Abstract:Objective To estimate the costs of nursing service items,so as to search for ways to re- duce nursing cost.Methods The cost of each nursing service item was estimated and the propor- tions of each item were calculated.The costs of nursing service by nurses of different technical ti- tles were also calculated.Results and Conclusion We found that human cost was an important part of the nursing cost;material cost control was another way to control the costs;and manage- ment cost was also an important component of nursing costs.
