Abstract:In this paper, we establish the existence of positive solutions for a singular system of nonlinear fractional differential equations. The differential operator is taken in the standard Riemann–Liouville sense. By using Green’s function and its corresponding properties, we transform the derivative systems into equivalent integral systems. The existence is based on a nonlinear alternative of Leray–Schauder type and Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem in a cone.

Abstract:In this paper, the existence of positive solutions for the nonlinear Caputo fractional functional differential equation in the form {D0+qy(t)+r(t)f(yt)=0,∀t∈(0,1),q∈(n−1,n],y(i)(0)=0,0≤i≤n−3,αy(n−2)(t)−βy(n−1)(t)=η(t),t∈[−τ,0],γy(n−2)(t)+δy(n−1)(t)=ξ(t),t∈[1,1+a] is studied. By constructing a special cone and using Krasnosel’skii’s fixed point theorem, various results on the existence of at least one or two positive solutions to the fractional functional differential equation are established. The main results improve and generalize the existing results.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the existence and multiplicity results of positive solutions for a boundary value problem of nonlinear fractional differential equations. The differential operator is taken in the Riemann-Liouville sense and the nonlinear term depends on the fractional derivative of an unknown function. We derive first the associated Green’s function and prove its properties. Consequently, the considered problem is deduced to an equivalent integral equation. Next, by means of the Leggett-Williams fixed point theory, we obtain the existence and multiplicity results of positive solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a nonlinear Riemann-Liouville fractional a q-difference system with multi-strip and multi-point mixed boundary conditions under the Caputo fractional q-derivative, where the nonlinear terms contain two coupled unknown functions and their fractional derivatives. Using the fixed point theorem for mixed monotone operators, we constructe iteration functions for arbitrary initial value and acquire the existence and uniqueness of extremal solutions. Moreover, a related example is given to illustrate our research results.
