Abstract:In order to improve students' ability in practice and research,the modular integrative electric circuit experiments are developed in our university. The associated modular structure helps students design and finish the experiments scheme independently. Three sample cases are introduced in this paper,and implementation methods and the effects are also given.

Abstract:In order to further improve the students' practical ability and exploring spirit,the related,modular,open comprehensive experimental system is developed and implemented.The experiment content has certain application background,reflects the relationship between knowledge systems of different courses.The interesting visual effect of the system might be seen through the waveform,sound,light,etc.The modular structure is independent and open for designing solutions.This follow-up and a few articles respectively introduce the development background,supporting facilities and equipment,and experiment content and the implementation of the comprehensive experiments.

Abstract:The open module experiment system is developed based on the application problem to improve students' practical ability and independently exploratory spirit.Taking the speech signal processing system with sound as the goal and the function of circuit design as the core,the experiment course content of circuit principle,analog electronic technology,digital electronic technology,signal and system,MCU and virtual instruments,are organically combined together.Its modularization structure is convenient for students,especially for junior students,to design the solution.Five kinds of module combinations are suggested.

Abstract:This paper presents a simple application system,such as chaotic secure communication system,which is based on the operation amplifier to comprise active components.Through the functional design of partial or full of this system,the basic theory study and measurement training,such as integrated op-amp related basic experiment,active resistance devices,active inductors,specific characteristics of nonlinear resistors inversion,and the characteristic curve measurement can be achieved.The associated modular structure can help students easy to design and finish the experiments scheme independently.The integrative experiments of function goal driven system,to arouse the students' comprehensive experiments and enthusiasm,initiative to explore effective evaluation results are able to have very good effects.

Abstract:Experiment teaching is an important approach to training students' basic scientific skills and cultivating their creative ability. The authors have carried out a teaching reform in biotechnological experiment course by establishing the modular course system through many years' exploration and practice.They have constructed clear theoretical knowledge and experimental operation frame which enable students to realize the position and function of every independent experiment. Abstract:Practical laboratory experimentation has always been a crucial part of engineering education and its effectiveness in facilitating learning is universally acknowledged. Huge advances in computer science, coupled with significant increases in the cost of ever more complex and sophisticated laboratory set-ups, have led to engineering schools’ adopting computer models and simulation software. Although simulation-based laboratory work does enhance the learning experience, it plays a more effective role alongside practical experimentation rather than as a replacement. This case study presents the results and experience gained from an enquiry-based learning of power-converter development laboratory work to support a power electronic converter module at the University of Greenwich. The approach taken allows students to learn the basics of the module through a combination of modelling, simulation and practical experimentation. The modular and portable nature of the laboratory set-ups afforded the students more time and opportunity to explore the subject matter and integrate the laboratory experience with the concepts covered in the lectures. The feedback from students, which was gathered from the students through the university’s EVASYS system, strongly indicated that the approach led to a sustained improvement in students’ learning experience and satisfaction with the module.
