Abstract:A 2×2 multiple-factor experiment was conducted to study the interaction of different zinc and protein levels on serum pro-inflammatory cytokines and intestinal mucosa immunity in early weaned piglets.Thirty-two weaned DLY pigs with age o(f21±2)d were randomly assigned to four treatments according to gender and BW by 2×2.Each treatment had four replicates and each replicate has two piglets.Zn supplement amounts were 100 and 3 000 mg/kg,protein level were 23% and 17%.The four treatments were low zinc (100 mg/kg) and high protein(23%) group;low zinc (100 mg/kg) and low protein (17%)group;high zinc (3 000 mg/kg) and high protein group (23%);high zinc (3 000 mg/kg) and low protein group (17%).The results showed that Zinc and protein could degrade or increase serum interleukin -1β and interleukin-6 concentration (P 0.05 or P 0.01) In the pre-test (0-14 d).Serum interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 concentration in the post-test(14-28d) were lower than those of the pre-test(P 0.05).In the same protein diets, the group with high level of zinc got lower serum interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 than the group with low level of zinc.Different level of protein diets supplementation with high dosage of zinc could increase the concentration of intestinal mucosa SIgA(P 0.01),interaction was significant difference (P 0.01).So,it was concluded that different level of protein diets supplementation with high dosage of zinc could degrade the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increase the concentration of intestinal mucosa SIgA,promoted the immunity of early weaned piglets.
