Abstract:Mother-to-child-transmission of HIV is the major cause of children's HIV infection,interventions to reduce intrauterine HIV infection vertical transmission includes primary prevention of HIV infection;prevention of unintended pregnancies among women living with HIV;prevention of HIV transmission from mothers living with HIV to their infants.Use of antiretroviral drugs,scheduled cesarean delivery and formula feeding can prevent transmission effectively.
