Abstract:Objective To explore the methods of repairing thumb degloving injuries. Methods Thumb degloving injuries in 32 cases were repaired by transplanting wrap-around flaps from the big toe and blood vessels and nerves were anastomosed by microsurgery technique. The donor site was transplanted skin. Results All the transplanting tissues have survived. All cases were followed up from 6～17 monthes.Thumb Repaired by a wrap-around flap from the big toe yielded excellent cosmetic and functional results. Conclusion It's an effective methods to repair thumb degloving injuries by transplanting wrap-around flap from the big toe.
