Study on the Antioxidant of the Auriculair Auricuia Melanin

Abstract:The study using Auriculair auricula melanin as an experimental material learned anti -lipid peroxidation of mice,inhibition of the lipid peroxidation of yolk,scavenging hydroxyl radicals and scavenging free radical DPPH.The results showed Auriculair auricula melanin haed an obvious antioxidant to normal liver homogenate and yolk,when the rate of inhibition achieved 50% ,the concentration of the Auriculair auricula melanin were 0.065 mg/mL and 0.110 mg/mL respectively.The increase of the concentration of the Auriculair auricuia melanin improves the rate of scavenging hydroxyl radicals,when the concentration of melanin was 0.48 mg/L,the rate of scavenging got 50% .While the concentration of melanin was in a range of 0.05 mg/mL- 0.24 mg/mL,the rate of scavenging free radical DPPH increases gradually,nevertheless overrunning 0.24 mg/mL, the the rate of inhibition decreases.When the concentration of melanin arrives 0.176 mg/mL,the rate of scavenging free radical DPPH was 50% .
