Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of neutral stochastic differential systems with variable delays and give sufficient conditions to ensure that the zero solution is asymptotically stable in the mean square by means of a generalisation of Banach's contraction principle. These conditions do not require the boundedness of delays, nor do they ask for a fixed sign on the coefficient functions. The results are shown to improve the previous globally stable results derived in the literature.
Coexistence of Positive Steady-state Solutions for a Class of Reaction-diffusion Model with Holling-Tanner Term

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the coexistence of steady states for a kind of reaction-diffusion model with Holling-Tanner term under the third boundary conditions. By means of maximum principles and Hopf boundary lemma, the prior estimates of the strict positive solutions are given at first. Then by using the topological fixed point theorems and extending Leray-Schauder degree on Banch spaces to positive cones, the existence of positive solutions of the system are considered. At last, by calculating the indices of fixed points of compact operators in cones and combining with spectrum analysis of operators, maximum principles and lower-upper solutions methods, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the positive solutions of the steady system are obtained.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to investigating a class of neutral-type integral differential equations arising in an epidemic model. By using Mawhin's continuation theorem and the properties of neutral-type operators, we obtain the existence conditions for positive periodic solutions of the considered neutral-type integral differential equation. Compared with previous results, the existence conditions in this paper are less restricted, thus extending the results of the existing literature. Finally, two examples are given to show the effectiveness and merits of the main results of this paper. Our results can be used to obtain the existence of a positive periodic solution to the corresponding non-neutral-type integral differential equation.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the almost periodic solution for a neutral multi-species Logarithmic population model. By employing Banach’s fixed point theorem and using differential inequality technique, we present some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence, uniqueness and globally exponential stability of almost periodic solution for the model. The results obtained extend and improve the earlier publications. Finally, two examples are provided to show the correctness of our analysis.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the existence of positive almost automorphic solutions to some nonlinear delay integral equations. We first establish a new fixed point theorem for mixed monotone operator in a cone, and then, with its help, we obtain existence theorems of positive almost automorphic solutions. Some examples are given to illustrate our results. As one will see, even in the case of almost periodicity, our theorems extend some earlier results, and moreover, the approach dealing with the integral equation arising in an epidemic problem in this paper is also new.

Abstract:In this article we study the existence of positive periodic solutions for two types of second-order nonlinear neutral differential equation with infinite distributed delay. The main tool employed here is the Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem dealing with a sum of two mappings, one is a contraction and the other is completely continuous. The results obtained here generalize the work of Han and Ren (Nonlinear Anal, 70:1393–1406, 2009).

Abstract:In this paper, we focus on the existence of positive periodic solutions of generalized Leslie–Gower-type population models. Using the topological degree, we provide sufficient conditions to demonstrate the existence of positive periodic solutions to the considered models. It is interesting that the positive periodic solutions in this paper are general positive functions, not e exponential functions, which generalizes and improves the existing results. We note that due to the symmetrical property of periodic solutions, the results of this paper provide a deeper understanding of the periodic behavior of biological populations. Two numerical examples show the effectiveness of our main results.

Abstract:Combining the spectral radius of matrix with the generalized Banach fixed point theory and some properties of exponential contraction, we prove periodic solution and almost periodic solution of a neutral delay multispecies logarithmic population model with piecewise constant argument is existent and unique in appropriate conditions. The results have generalized and improved some results of literature on logarithmic population model. Finally, one example is given to illustrate our results.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to investigating a class of stochastic neutral-type neural networks with delays. By using the fixed point theorem and the properties of neutral-type operator, we obtain the existence conditions for periodic solutions of stochastic neutral-type neural networks. Furthermore, we obtain the conditions for the exponential stability of periodic solutions using Gronwall-Bellman inequality and stochastic analysis technique. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and merits of the present results. Our results can be used to obtain the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution to the corresponding deterministic systems.

Abstract:In this article, we study the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions, and stability of the zero solution to the nonlinear neutral system $$ \frac{d}{dt}x(t)=A(t)h\big(x(t-\tau_1(t))\big)+\frac{d}{dt}Q\big(t,x(t-\tau_2(t))\big) +G\big(t,x(t),x(t-\tau_2(t))\big). $$ We use integrating factors to transform the neutral differential equation into an equivalent integral equation. Then we construct appropriate mappings and employ Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to show the existence of a periodic solution. We also use the contraction mapping principle to show the existence of a unique periodic solution and the asymptotic stability of the zero solution. Our results generalize the corresponding results in the existing literature. Abstract:In this paper, we establish the existence and stability of periodic solutions for neutral-type differential equations with piecewise impulses on time scales. We first obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique periodic solution by using the Banach contraction mapping principle. We also prove the existence of at least one periodic solution using the Schauder fixed point theorem. In addition, we establish the stability results based on the existence of periodic solutions. It is worth noting that the results of this paper are based on time scales, so that they are applicable to continuous, discrete, and other types of systems.
