Abstract:Against the late modernization background,the exploration on the cultural tallying point pursued by the writers in Western Regions is always the main topic to construct their works.In ′Shaanxi Opera′,Jia Ping-ao once again made a description about his native place-the land of Shaanxi in a very pathetic and touching way.He is full of sympathy and sadness to the carrier of arts.He demonstrates his sorrow with no alternative and grief at a loss as to what to do and the squeeze of the modern culture to the traditional culture against the late modernization background.The exploration of the cultural way-out,the symbol metaphor of the ′Shaanxi opera′ die-out,fuzziness of the special meaning of the symbol ′Shaanxi people′,and the elimination of the concept ′root′ all denote that the explorer is full of puzzling cultural plight and even unfruitfulness.This may just be the infinite resources in which to create the literature in Western regions and determine the huge potentials for the development of the literature in Western regions.
