Effect evaluation on behavior of attitude toward pain treatment for patients with cancer by health education

Abstract:Objective To certain the effect of reduce patient's anxiety for pain treatment by health education program. Methods 112 patients with cancer were selected for health education program,such as lecture,collectivity consulting and individual instruct etc,Pain control holdback questionnaire was used for measuring patient's anxiety level toward pain treatment,Change in anxiety level and degree of satisfaction was compared before and after health education.Data was analyzed by SPSS 11.0 software.Results The anxiety level after health education was reduced significanfly compared with that before health education(P<0.01).Conclusions Under the condition of normal chemotherapy,the anxiety level toward pain treatment can be reduced by health education,compliance for treatment was improved for successful treatment and pain control for patients with cancer.
