Pervaporation performance of PDMS composite membranes for separation of ethanol/water mixtures(Ⅱ)and effect of membrane preparation conditions

Abstract:PDMS/PVDF composite membranes were prepared with PVDF ultrafiltration membrane as support layer and cross-linked PDMS(107、108、RT-615)as selective layer.The surface and cross-section morphology of PDMS/PVDF membranes were characterized by SEM.The swelling ratio,density,and cross-linking chain length of PDMS homogeneous membranes were measured.The effect of species of PDMS,concentration of cross-linking reagents and cross-linking temperature on the pervaporation performance of membranes were studied,and the optimal preparation conditions of PDMS/PVDF membranes were determined.
