Abstract:Design industry has become the new engine of economic growth in background of global integration. Design is a unique resource which integrates decision-making skills and specific implementation capacity. It transforms the abstract scientific thinking into the concrete productivity. The promotion of urban design ability can greatly promote the development of social economy. In this paper, we analyzed the determinants and internal mechanism of urban design competitiveness, extracted the elements and evaluation indicators, and laid the theoretical foundation for the further construction of the evaluation model. It has a great significance for the cities to recognize their own advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract:Abstract At present, the new technology represented by computer information technology promotes the rapid development of all walks of life, for the mechanical design and manufacturing field also played a huge role in promoting. Compared with the traditional mechanical design and manufacturing technology, the advantage of the new mechanical design which integrates the intelligent technology is that the resources are more intensive, the integration is higher and the environment is more intelligent. The innovation ability training of high quality human resources in mechanical specialty is the main force to promote the transformation of China from a “manufacturing power” to a “manufacturing power”. Based on the speciality of mechanical design innovation ability raise as the goal, in the basis of summarizing the research on mechanical undergraduate education in our country, define the mechanical design in intelligent manufacturing innovation connotation, studies the mechanical design innovation ability training mechanism, mainly include: optimization of course structure, strengthen the engineering practice, the unity and actively participate in mechanical creative design competition. The feasibility and effectiveness of the above theory was verified by taking the mechanical innovation design of mechanical design and manufacturing and automation in the school of mechanical and electronic engineering of a certain college as an example.

Abstract:Abstract The development of mechanical design and manufacturing and automation engineering is not only an effective support to realize the goal of China’s industrial power and improve the gross national product, but also can improve the people’s living standards and provide the production basis for the current social development. The development of artificial intelligence can promote the degree of mechanical automation. In order to better distinguish the influence of artificial intelligence technology on mechanical design and manufacturing, we selected 30 students from mechanical college and equally divided them into two groups. Group A students used traditional mechanical design and manufacturing method to carry out experiments, while group B used artificial intelligence on this basis be able to design and manufacture machinery. With the development of experiment time and progress, we found that there was a big difference between the two groups of students. The experimental results show that when the mechanical manufacturing reaches 30%, the waste rate of group A is 0.4%, and the waste rate of group B is 0.2%, saving 0.2%. When the manufacturing progress reaches 50% and 70%, the waste of resources in group B is 0.3% less than that in group A 5% in group A and 1% in group B, saving 0.5%. Thus, the use of artificial intelligence technology can not only improve the manufacturing efficiency of mechanical manufacturers, but also reduce the waste of resources, which has a profound impact on the rapid development of mechanical design and manufacturing.

Abstract:Mechanical design and manufacture were the basic industry of modern production, which had experienced a relatively long development stage. With the integration of the internet and the internet of things, the development speed of modern industry had been gradually accelerated, which not only improved the actual production efficiency, but also ensured the production quality, as a result that the safety problems had been effectively controlled. With this development trend, the characteristics of mechanical design, manufacture and automation should be fully tapped, so that the final production level could be significantly improved after the production advantages being given full pay to. This paper mainly studied the application status of mechanical design, manufacture and automation, and explored the development trend of mechanical design and manufacture in the future, so as to provide power for the further development of modern industry and ensure the safety of actual production.

Abstract:This paper discusses a teaching method customized for mechanical engineering students.Based on the educational goals of 'competency-based learning', where students specifically hunt for the skills they need to acquire, a more flexible way of designing has been taught to stimulate their creativity, as well as to complement their capability towards problem solving.In Innovation Design Team (IDT) at Industrial Design Department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), year 4 Mechanical Engineering students were introduced to project-based assignments, which were Product Practical and Semantic Analysis, Development of Creative Design on Form and Functionality.The assignments were organized as to transfer their skills from a constructive to a more intuitive and flexible character.Results have shown, through a collection of assignments, how a systematic approach in teaching at the HUST, IDT will efficiently develop the more intuitive and creative skills of students with several years of pure engineering background.

Abstract:The principle and strategy on systematic design of mechanical products are presented.It is suggested that the surroundings,lateral relation,and the experiencingtrack of the design object should be taken into account for systematic design.To improve the competency of mechanical products,not only the main system but also its subsystems should be optimized.It is necessary to establish the complex model concerning subsytem properties and their influence on main system before the optimal design of mechanical system.For optimization of certain subsystem,the property factors of the sub-structure,which greatly influence the whole system's performance,should be selected to constitute the multi-object function.When certain property of the whole system is to be enhanced,the sub-structures,which greatly influence the specific property of the whole system,should be ameliorated.
