Clinical Significance of Immunoglobulin Heavy Chain Gene Rearrangement in Patients with B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Iiymphoma

Abstract:Objective To explore the methods of detection and clinical significance of immunoglobulin heavy chain gene rearrangement in patient with B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(B-NHL).Methods Detect IgH gene rearrangements of 39 B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma cases using polymerase chain reaction/sequence-specific primers and monitoring of these gene rearrangements.Results Totally 39 cases of B-NHL without the treatment of newly diagnosed patients with IgH gene rearrangements detected 34 cases of positive,positive rate of 87.1%(34/39).34 cases of newly diagnosed patients with positive,after treatment 19 patients achieve complete clinical remission,16 cases in which negative,3 cases of continuous positive.15 cases were partial remission,IgH gene rearrangement continued positive.Conclusions IgH gene rearrangement can be detected as a B-NHL diagnosis and monitoring of minimal residual disease.
