Abstract:Translational Medicine provides the ideal platform and opportunity for interdisciplinary integration and collective wisdom gathering.This paper analyzes the construction background,operation model,existing research programs and talents level of Harvard Catalyst.The authors argue that in the process of several key Chinese universities making great efforts to the worldclass ones,translational medicine is a very noteworthy research field.Promoting scientific research topics comes from clinical practice,and improving relevant systems to ensure the stability of crossdisciplinary research team are effective ways to promote the development of translational medicine in China.
