Abstract:The level of public utilities symbolizes the level of economy development to someextent.The article carried on the principal components analysis of the public utilities level of every city in Shandong province.Synthesized 12 indicators into 4 principal components and reflecting the majority of original information which is not correlated to each other.Calculates the four factor scores and synthesis scores of every city in Shandong province appraises quantitatively the level public utilities of each city in Shandong province.The relevant departmens of Shandong province can take some target-oriented measure to promote the integral development economy of Shandong province greatly according to the above.
