Effect of nucleosome-binding protein 1 on prostate cancer cell of PC-3 in invasion by modulating CXCR4

Abstract:Objective To study the effect and mechanism of nucleosome-binding protein 1(NSBP1)modulating invasion on human androgen-independent prostate cancer cell PC-3.Methods This study employed lentivirus mediated knockdown of NSBP1 to elucidate the oncogenic role of NSBP1 in prostate cancer PC-3 cell,MTT assay and transwell assay were used to observed cell proliferation and invasion,Western-blot was used to test the expression of NSBP1 and CXCR4.Results The transfected lentivirus-NSBP1 PC-3 cells induced decrease of cell proliferation and invasion,and at the same time the expression of CXCR4 protein also decreased.Conclusions Knocking down of NSBP1 induce decrease of cell proliferation and invasion,which may have role in SDF-1/CXCR4 ways.
