Abstract:a b s t r a c tA real ultra-deep, high-temperature, and high-pressure oil reservoir sample was obtained from a China condensate gas field. Constant-composition expansion(CCE) tests were performed to determine the phase behavior and volumetric properties of reservoir fluid using a visualization 250/1500FV test system which can monitor and record in real time. The dew point pressure, retrograde liquid volume (RLV), compressibility factor, and density were obtained at five temperature points of 323.15, 353.15, 383.15, 413.15, and 443.15 K, with a pressure range of 20.02-120.01 MPa. The experimental results showed that the dew point pressure first increased and then decreased with increasing temperature. Retrograde condensed liquid percent (RCLP) decreased with increasing temperature, but first increased and then decrease with decreasing pressure. The compressibility factor increased with increasing pressure and linearly increased with pressure in the high-pressure range. The compressibility factor increased with increasing temperature in the low-pressure range, but decreased with increasing temperature in the high-pressure range. The density increased with increasing pressure, but decreased with increasing temperature. A thermodynamic model based on the SRK equation of state was established to describe the phase behavior and volumetric properties of gas condensate under high temperature and high pressure conditions. The calculated results were in good agreement with experimental data, and the calculation accuracy was improved in high temperature and high pressure range, which was of great significance for the development of gas condensate reservoirs under ultra-deep, high temperature and high pressure conditions.
