Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between serum 25OHD level with clinical indications of acute coronary syndrome patients. Methods 78 ACS patients were divided into two groups, AMI and UA. Their serum 25OHD was measured by ELISA method and compared with health control groups. The difference about the sex/age/complications and severity degree of disease between the 25OHD25 nmol/L with 25OHD≥25 nmol/L groups were evaluated. The serum MMP9 level of ACS patients were detected by ELISA and evaluated the correlation with 25OHD. The measurement data used t test. The enumeration data used X2 test. The correlation compare used Pearson analysis. Results 25OHD was obviously decreased in the ACS patients compared to the health control group (P=0.000), the mean value were 21.2±10.7 nmol/L and 35.3±23.1 nmol/L, respectively. The percentage of serum 25OHD level less than 25 nmol/L in the AMI patients was 86.8% which was higher than the UA patients(P0.05). The deficiency of vitaminD was more often in the ACS patients with hypertension or diabetic. There was a negative correlation between 25OHD with MMP9(r=―0.768,P=0.000). Conclusion 25OHD seems to correlation with cardiovascular risk factors, and may play an important role in the pathogenesis mechanism of the acute coronary syndrome.
