Abstract:The characteristic of the fly ash is modified by adding acidic or alkalescent reagent,and after laboratory-scale experiment and practical test,the schoolyard domestic wastewater is treated by the alkalescent modified fly ash.The result shows the average removal rate of BOD_5,COD,SS, NH_4~+-N,TN,TP and coliform group bacteria reaches 75.2%,68.2%,85.4%,74.3%,45.6%, 53.3% and 92.4%,respectively,which meets the requirements of second class discharge standard of China and reuse,though the pH rises little.
