Abstract:Obiective: To study infrared fingerprints of Z.clinopodioides Lam.and Z.tenuior Linn.from different regions.Method: Based on their infrared fingerprint spectra,Z.clinopodioides Lam.and Z.tenuior Linn samples from 15 geographical origins with common and variant peak ratio and dual-index sequence analysis.Result: The classification is well correlated to their gene,geographical origins and weather.In the same class,the chemical components are similar to each other,which can be considered as the criterion for evaluating their quality.The results show that their infrared spectra characteristics of the same species are similar in the range of 4000～400 cm-1,but vary significantly for different species.Conclusion: The method is rapid and simple,and could be applied to evaluate the quality of this traditional medical herbs.
