XML-based Integrated Design of Aircraft Virtual Prototype

Abstract:Integrated design of aircraft virtual prototype is a complex system engineering, which involves the collaborative design among multi-disciplinary domains. According to the characteristic in the design such as complex integrated type, wide fields and parallel design of multi-system in heterogeneous platforms, an aircraft integrated design was divided clearly by function. Then an digital virtual integrated design platform of missile virtual prototype and demo system were built which is designed as process flow or “wizard”. XML (eXtensible Markup Language) was also used as an exchange platform of a wide variety of data, and corresponding XML Schema was implemented to describe the XML data structure and standardize the interoperability of different modules and software.
