Study on the Cultural Values Influencing Innovation Capabilities in High-Tech Companies

Abstract:The paper explores the organizational culture values influencing innovation capabilities in High-Tech compa- nies by using the methods of in-depth interview and focus group discussion.Based on the field study in twelve High- Tech companies,one incubator company and related government agencies,the main findings are as follows:first,the organizational culture values influencing innovation capabilities in High-Tech companies can be summarized into eight aspects-vision driven,customer orientation,reformation rewarded,failure tolerance,application study,humanity, team work and open communication.Second,the foundation background of High-Tech companies is found to have some influences on the organizational culture.Third,under the circumstances of technological development and cultural traditions in China,the organizational culture in High-Tech companies features regional characteristics.
