GLASS DEVELOPMENT OF STIBNITE RED GLASS AND STUDY ON ITS SPECTRUM PROPERTY

Abstract:Stibnite red glass was prepared taking sulfur powder and antimony powder as colorant, using carbon powder as reducing agent.The spectrum performance of red glass was investigated.The result shows that the color of stibnite red glass mostly lies on quantity of Sb_2S_3 colloid grain.The spectrum curves transfer to long wave with increasing dosage of antimony powder,rising color temperature,prolonging the color heat preservation time.The red glass,with excellent performance,pure color,high transmittance,can be produced through strictly control the wet.
