Meta-analysis of Aidi injection combined with chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer

Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of S-1 and Oxaliplatin combined with Aidi injec-tion for advanced gastric cancer.Methods:retrieval from PubMed,The Cochrane library,Web of Science,EMBASE,China Biology Medicine,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,Wanfang),randomized controlled trial about S-1 and Oxaliplatin combined with Aidi Injection for advanced gastric cancer were collected.Meta-analysis was con-ducted by Rev Man5.3 software after data extraction and quality evaluation.Results:There was statistical significance in effective rate of gastric cancer between 2 groups[OR＝1.60,95%CI＝(1.08,2.37),P＝0.02].The incidence of leukopenia[OR＝0.36,95%CI ＝(0.23,0.55),P ＜0.000 01],hemoglobin reduction[OR ＝0.45,95%CI＝(0.21,0.96),P＝0.04],thrombocytopenia[OR＝0.49,95%CI＝(0.29,0.81),P＝0.006],nausea and vomi-ting[OR＝0.45,95%CI＝(0.31,0.68),P＜0.000 1],diarrhea [OR＝0.46,95%CI＝(0.26,0.83),P＝0.01],peripheral nerve toxicity[OR＝0.32,95%CI＝(0.18,0.56),P＜0.000 1],abnormal liver function[OR＝0.26,95%CI＝(0.12,0.57),P＝0.000 7]in trail group were lower than control group,with statistical significance.Con-clusion:S-1 and Oxaliplatin combined with Aidi Injection for advanced gastric cancer can improve therapeutic effi-cacy and reduce the occurrence of adverse drug reaction.
