Abstract:Marx originated dialectical materialism and historical materialism,by absorbing British classical political theory,and combining instrumental rationality and value rationality with scientific spirit and humanistic spirit,Marxist economics,which is also called scientific political economics,was founded,based on the theory of labor value.The assumption of "rational economic man",which was summarized by neoclassical economists from classic economics,as a main assumption,has substituted Smith's humanist rationality with self-interest view of rationality,and made the economics head into quantification,instrumentalization and scientification,and has gone mainstream.The financial crisis shows that consumerism,hedonism and materialism have got its way all over the world unrestrictedly,which is closely related to the fact that the mainstream economics has abandoned humanistic spirit.The chaotic phenomena in nowadays global economy,is calling for humanistic spirit to come back.Marxist economy is a kind of ethical economy,and we should reread Marxist economy,absorbing the essence of both western and eastern economics,rooting into the rich practice of Chinese reform and open-up,digging up vivid theoretical materials,thus stimulating the innovation of Marxist political economics.
