Analyses on functions of static mechanic in bird-nest cable dome

Abstract:Based on the theory of geometrical non-linearity,it both calculates and analyzes the responses to static mechanic under multiple types of loads on Bird-nest cable dome,with impacts of prepress on structural static-mechanic analyzed at the same time.The results demonstrate that both structures of grid-jumping and non-grid-jumping boast have good capacity in static mechanic,and the system's overall impacts exerted by prepress are rather limited to either the structure stiffness or the static mechanic,though comparatively,the impacts could be more obvious on the grid-jumping structure.Therefore,it's of necessity to adopt rational prepress considering difficulties in practical construction.
