Application of GPRS Technology in Food Temperature Monitoring System

Abstract:As temperature is one of the main factors which affect food spoilage,it is of great significance to monitor the real-time temperature of food during transportation,such as export aquatic products,vegetables and so on. This paper applies the GPRS technology to wireless data transmission system of food temperature and designs the data monitoring centre. With this method,the real-time temperature of food in mobile vehicle is achieved and monitored remotely,which will ensure the quality and safety of food. Test results show that data transmission of this system is real-time,stable and reliable.
