Abstract:Ancient Chinese sense of practicality, as well as the ideological conception that includes things in all areas into the domain of personal behavior, have driven traditional culture to produce tremendous influence on Chinese martial art.The influence of traditional culture on Chinese martial art can be comprehended from the perspective of experimental mind and super-experimental mind: For traditional martial art, the specific expressions of experimental mind highly recommended by all sorts of traditional culture,such as Confucian moral code,personal behavior code and health keeping technique of Daoism,Buddha's meditation method,battle tactics of tacticians,are the best methodology that can promote martial art practicer's principal experimental mind; the ways employed by all sorts of traditional culture to develop and highlight super-experimental mind are the basic clews for building traditional martial art and promoting its Gongfu level. The author expounded the modern meaning of the effect of traditional culture on Chinese martial art,and carried out in-depth contemplation on some sensitive realistic issues existed in the development of Chinese martial art.
