Abstract:Insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ(IGF-Ⅰ)is an important member of IGF family.It plays an important role in the carcinogenesis and development of prostate cancer by activating insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor and its downstream molecules.Recently,a multitude of agents are produced to block the activation of IGF-ⅠR and downstream signaling pathway,and several anti-IGF-ⅠR mono- clonal antibodies have been reported very successful in the treatment of prostate cancer in in vitro and in vi- vo studies.
