Virtual-enterprise-based Interactive Modeling and Implementation for Collaborative Production Information

Abstract:In general,the virtual enterprises possess dynamic and provisional characteristics.In the collaborative production process,the real-time information interaction secures a critical position in production planning and scheduling systems.Pertaining to the collaborative production processes under a virtual-enterprise environment,a unified information model,which produces good hierarchical and interactive structure,is established using IDEF and UML tool-kits.In addition,an information interactive architecture is postulated based on XML data exchange format.To this end,a prototype system is established to verify the efficiency of the proposed model.
