Abstract:AIM:To improve the method of the whole mount preparations of digestive tract and the staining method.METHODS:We made some progresses in regular mount preparations after many experiments,which helped offer better situation in observing myentric plexus.We used receptors of group I mGluRs(mGluR1,mGluR5)and nNOS to elucidate this method.RESULTS:Immunofluorescence staining was used to show myenteric plexus,and observed with fluorescence microscope,which helped offer better situation in observing myentric plexus and better show the whole morphologic of myenteric plexus,and the single neuron and nerve fiber.CONCLUSION:Our improved method is really a good method to show myenteric plexus.The method has many advantages which will hopefully lead to better study myenteric plexus.
