Effect of Chinese Herb and Wood Vinegar Feed Additives on Blood Indexes in Finisher Pigs

Abstract:We chose 45 healthy pigs, which had similar weights(P >0.05)and 60 day lives.A group was using 0.5% stomachic Chinese herbal medicine in fodder.B Group was using 0.5% wood vinegar in fodder.C group was using 0.5% Chinese herbal medicine and wood vinegar(1:1) in fodder.Every group had also divided into 3 groups with 5 pigs each.The results showed that it had evident effects on LYMamong A B C three groups(p <0.01);A and C group GOT GPT TP ALB and GLO than B group(p <0.01);B group had evident effects on CHOL and TG than A and C group(p <0.01).The results indicated that A and C group were better than B group on improving digestion and absorption of nutrients and metabolic rate, improving the immunity of finisher pigs.B group was better than A and C group on lowering cholesterol and triglyceride.
