Abstract:This thesis focuses on co-citation research in the field of LIS.Adopting Author Co-citation Analysis and based on the Backtracking data from Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index(1999-2007),it attempts to analyze the network of research co-citation.Furthermore,information visualization is included in the study so as to present a clear picture of author co-citation activities on Library,Information and Documentation Science.
