Demonstration Research on Individual Educational Cost of Graduate Students

Abstract:Since 80s of the last century, there have many quantitative researches on the individual direct education cost and indirect education cost of undergraduate students. But such quantitative researches on graduate students are few. The article quantitatively measured the individual direct cost and indirect cost of graduate students in Fu-dan University. The outcomes are: (1) For the graduate student who is of unitive recruited students or directional cultured students, the individual direct education cost is 2114.92 YUAN per year, the individual indirect education cost is 35857.48 YUAN per year and both are total up to 37972.4 YUAN. (2) For the graduate student who is at his or her own expenses or who is of entrust cultured students, the individual direct education cost is 10768. 49 YUAN per year, the individual indirect education cost is 35857.48 YUAN per year and both are total up to 46625. 97 YUAN.
