Abstract:The smart substation condition monitoring system is an important topic of smart grid construction, in particular the interface communication specifications of the smart substation condition monitoring system have been a hot research topic. This paper first gives an overview of smart substation monitoring system and station interfaces profiles, and then describes the communication protocol stack, communication models, functionalities and abstract communication service interface, configuration and so on, further studies frame structure, message content structure,and transport rules of data transmission protocol applicable to the substation monitoring unit and various monitoring devices. The application of the proposed method to a certain 220 kV smart substation has good effects.
