THE CPC NATIONAL TERRITORIAL AUTONOMY POLICY AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN XINJIANG

Abstract:The National territorial autonomy system of the People's Republic of China is one of the most important political institutions of the country. There are 55 ethnic groups living in this country, with the exception of the Chinese people (Hanzu), the vast majority of whom are legally entitled to national territorial autonomy. However, depending on the number of minority souls, the location of the region of residence in the country, the overall size of the region, the specifics of religion, etc., the implementation of the law on autonomy, conducted by the CPC, remains peculiar. Therefore, from the point of view of economic, political, historical, demographic, social and cultural characteristics, the CPC's policy in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region also has its own specifics. The authors of the article consider the specifics of the implementation of the CPC national autonomy policy in Xinjiang on the basis of the country's domestic foreign policy and international geopolitical conditions.
The main purpose of this article is to consider the policy that the modern Chinese authorities adhere to in relation to national autonomous regions, including the characteristics and features of the regional governance policy that is actually implemented in the XUAR. And the main tasks of the work include a summary of national autonomies in China, determining the specifics of national policy in it and discussing issues that persist in the regions. In carrying out these tasks, methods of comparative historical analysis, systemic structural, induction, retrospective, chronological scientific research were used.
The novelty of the study lies in the comparison of the real state of power and public order in the national autonomous regions, conducted by the leadership of the CPC. The results of the study allow for a deeper understanding of the role and features of autonomous regions in improving the integrity and sustainable development of the country by the Government of the People's Republic of China, and these results can be useful to regional scientists, Oriental Sinologists, as well as specialists in the field of intercultural interaction.
