Abstract:On the basis of describing the relationship between features,tabular layout of article characteristics,design with features and parametric design,the paper proposes an insight into how to parameterize parts/components on general CAD systems.Based on the research of customized development on Inventor,the methodology of building parametric parts/components library and developing key implementation code on Inventor is put forward.Instance of case study is performed and demonstrates the feasibility of the methodology.
