The influence of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy on the neonate insulin sensitivity

Abstract:Objective:To discuss the influence of mother's hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy on the neonate insulin sensitivity.Methods:35 cases of full-term pregnancy delivery of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy were as observation group,36 cases normal delivery of full-term pregnancy as check group to collect the blood specimens of the mothers' and the neonates' at the time 8∶00～10∶00 am of the cesarean section day or the time when neonate was delivered and to measure blood sugar,the fasting blood insulin and the degree of cortisol,to calculate the sensitive index of insulin,the resist index of insulin and the insulin excretion index.Results:The neonate weight of observation group was lower than that of check group(P<0.05);there was no difference of empty stomach blood sugar between the two groups(P>0.05);in the observation group,the index of insulin sensitive decreased obviously,and the empty stomach serum insulin,the insulin resist index and the insulin excretion index increased remarkably(P<0.05);the degree of cortisol was higher than that in check group(P<0.05);the mothers' insulin sensitivity and cortisol comparison was as the same of the neonates' group.In all the cases,mother's empty stomach serum insulin and neonate's serum insulin,insulin sensitive index,insulin resist index and insulin excretion index had remarkable relation,mother's insulin sensitive index had notable relationship with the neonates';mother's insulin resist index had notable relationship with the neonates';there was no relation of the insulin excretion index between mother and neonate.Mother's cortisol degree had no relationship with the neonates'.Conclusion:Hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy could induce low insulin sensitivity or insulin resistance in neonates.
