Utilization of fly ash from municipal solid waste incineration

Abstract:Discusses statistics and analysis of data from more than 40 documents concerning the content and characteristics of the heavy metals and dioxins from municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)fly ashes.According to the features of the MSWI fly ashes and the available technology in other fields,several methods of resource treatment of the MSWI fly ashes(including:accession in ceramsite/material of glued stone's digenesis agent/promoter of biochemical reaction in Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket(UASB)and Expanded Granular Sludge Bed(EGSB)and recycling the heavy metals)were initially proposed,and their prospects discussed.The results indicate that if the three methods were completed gradually,one can not only save the cost of the treatment of MSWI fly ashes 1 000-2 000 RMB/t,but also bring great economic profit.
