Abstract:The folk songs that still retain their popularity in the Fang County,Hubei Province,contain a large quantity of ancient classics;some of which include certain fairy tales and lyrics in the Book of Songs.This paper researches on the relationship between the lyrics of the folk songs and the ancient classics,and proves that the content of the folk songs is not orally handed down to later generations,but the result of the efforts of the intellectuals who cited the classics in their performances of folk songs.This relationship demonstrated the unique communications between the folk culture and the elite culture in ancient China.

Abstract:Intangible cultural heritage dance is generally referred to as the dance included in the list of the intangible cultural heritage. Intangible cultural heritage, as an intangible and dynamic cultural heritage, is an intangible cultural heritage folk dance nurtured under the traditional Chinese context. and embodies a various national wisdom crystallization and the cultural spirit of the Chinese nation. However, the key points of shandong intangible yangge dance include the shandong jiaozhou, shandong haiyang yangko, shandong drum yangko (including dhi, shanghe, binzhou, etc), plus the ancient village flower drum, southern shandong flower drum, magnetic, loiter lamp, alone the rod cross, Yin and Yang board, three yellow sheep dance, dance, flower whip inspiring, gong, on "flower drum, gossip traditional dance, the dance move later, and so on. As for the charm of artistic value of "Shandong Intangible Cultural Heritage folk dance", it is not only an ancient treasure, a modern undertaking, but also a prospect of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the prosperity of art in the future. Abstract:Abstract The Southern Song poet Yang Wanli is known for his Chengzhai style, prominent features of which include humorous language, easy syntax, and nature as the source of inspiration. This article examines two characteristics of Yang's nature poems that contribute to the development of his unique style: photographic seeing and an emphasis on shanlin (mountains and forests). Yang often engages in intensive, camera-like observation and yearns for the space beyond city walls, his ideal site for both life and poetry. The author argues that Yang's efforts to create a poetic practice different from that of the late Northern Song's Jiangxi school, with its emphasis on learning and book knowledge, were only partly the result of his personal experience. The shift away from textual traditions and longing for wilderness must also be understood in the context of an emerging urban culture that began with the Tang dynasty. This cultural development provided contrast and background not only for the rise of Yang Wanli but also for the Rivers and Lakes poets of the next century.

Abstract:Zhejiang folk songs, as a gem within the realm of traditional Chinese musical culture, boast a rich array of artistic styles and distinctive vocal techniques. Their origins can be traced back to various facets of rural life, including agricultural labor, festive rituals, and folk activities, reflecting the diverse customs and cultural heritage of different regions within Zhejiang. Situated on the southeastern coast, the harmonious natural environment of Zhejiang has given rise to a variety of folk song forms, ranging from mountain ballads to farm songs and fishing tunes, each showcasing its own unique charm. Particularly, the refined and understated essence of Jiangnan culture endows Zhejiang folk songs with a poetic and delicate expression in melody and lyrics, culminating in a distinctive artistic style. The dissemination of Zhejiang folk songs is not confined to specific regions; as times change and society evolves, they have gradually integrated into contemporary art realms, becoming an essential part of national and local cultural heritage. Today, amid the diversification of popular culture, Zhejiang folk songs face the challenges of modernization and the struggle of preservation. Nevertheless, they remain a cultural symbol, carrying the memories and sentiments of traditional culture. This is not merely a testament to history but also a reflection of national emotions and artistic pursuits, deserving of in-depth study and preservation.

Abstract:The Yellow River is known as the "mother river" of Chinese civilization, which not only nurtures the Chinese nation but also has unique cultural characteristics. Folk songs, as an important carrier of inheriting traditional Chinese culture, embodies the wisdom of the Chinese people and provide strong impetus for promoting social development. The middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River connect Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Inner Mongolian Plateau, Hetao Plain, Loess Plateau and other regions, forming an overall combination, organically integrating nomadic civilization and agricultural civilization, then a unique culture of the Yellow River basin has been formed. Along this cultural belt, cultural integration among multiple ethnic groups in various regions has developed a unique musical and cultural pattern in the Yellow River Basin. Therefore, studying the integration characteristics and cultural connotations of folk songs in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River is of great significance for inheriting Yellow River culture and promoting traditional Chinese culture of folk songs.

Abstract:Nanyin, one of the most ancient music forms surviving in China, is reputed to be the “living fossil” in the music history of China. In Fujian Nanyin music, Nanyin Pipa plays the role of a conductor, which is irreplaceable. Hence, this paper starts with Nanyin Pipa, explores its various features, and compares it with similar Pipas to highlight its historical and cultural value. Moreover, in the combination of tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage from both micro and macro perspectives, it grasps the cultural essence of Fujian Nanyin music and demonstrates the value and significance in the protection and inheritance of Nanyin music.

Abstract:The historical and current values of the Yan′an literature are described,considering that its literary form has displayed its specific value role over different historic periods.Its historic value is manifested mainly in two aspects,namely,carrying more political missions,and making the voice of elite culture convert more profoundly to that of the mass culture voice.And the farmer culture,nationality,and folk nature are just what are short of in the present culture.Comparing the Yan′an culture to the Shaanxi culture,it can be seen that their spiritual core and value idea come down in a continuous line,and the Yan′an literature has a great significance to the construction and rethinking of the Shaanxi literature and contemporary culture.

Abstract:This article, based on analysis and interpretation of the Four Treasures of the Study ( wenfang sibao ), examines the role played by the Southern Tang in enriching Song literati culture. With the success of cultural rejuvenation, the Jianghuai region would become essential to fulfilling the function. Despite that the wenfang sibao originated in a weak southern kingdom, such roots did not affect their eminent image in the slightest. The profound impact of the wenfang sibao upon Song literati culture manifested itself in numerous ways, ranging from enriching connoisseurship and esthetic appreciation to the perpetuation of artistic beauty. Rigorous searches for esthetic artifacts found outside of China by Song literati not only posed challenges to the eminent position of wenfang sibao originating in the Southern Tang, but also necessitated the rethinking of what Huayi zhibian , Sino-barbarian dichotomy, exactly meant in Song China. As a whole, the study of the Nan Tang wenfang sibao substantiates regional legacy as a valid concept for the study of Song literati culture.

Abstract:In the context of local experience,China's most important regional culture are Qilu ethical culture and Jiangnan poetic culture. Jiangnan culture are intrinsically poetic and esthetic. Jiangnan poetic culture and Qilu ethical culture are mutually contradictory but related,constituting a deep structural principle of Chinese culture. The former,if lack of the latter's ethical support,would become more and more frivolous and superficial; in turn,the latter,if lack of the former's poetic inpouring,would lead to a loss of flexibility and become shackles fettering the nature of human beings. The most worrying things during the process of contemporary practice are:the gradual disappearance of the stiff spirit of Qilu ethical culture under the global anti-traditional background,and the vulgarization of the elegant taste of Jiangnan poetic culture under the anti-esthetic postmodern cultural background.

With unique fishing culture concerning fishery production, fisherman's life ritual customs, fishing area's beliefs, Zhoushan fishermen's songs are an accumulation of experience and crystallization of human wisdom handed down from ancestors of this region. Cultural communication and diversity along the Grand Canal of China: a case study of folk songs in intangible cultural heritage

Abstract:As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Grand Canal of China has a rich intangible cultural heritage along its route. The intangible cultural heritage of folk songs is an important representative. The study of its distribution characteristics and influencing factors is of practical and social significance for promoting the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage in relevant areas and the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt. This paper uses the theories of musicology, geography, sociology, data statistical analysis and spatial analysis to analyze the distribution pattern of intangible cultural heritage items in the Grand Canal basin from the dimensions of geographical space and folk song genre, and from the perspective of natural and social conditions. The results show that the spatial distribution of folk songs in the Grand Canal basin shows a trend of "distribution along the river, two cores and two belts". Water system, landform and regional culture are the main influencing factors for the formation and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage of folk songs. At the same time, compared with the mountainous areas in western China, the economic and social development and frequent population flow in the Grand Canal basin lead to the diversified and unified musical culture characteristics of folk songs. Finally, this paper proposes the suggestions that the folk songs should be integrated into the local social and economic activities.

Abstract:Through a comprehensive discussion of the historical evolution, themes and imagery, characterisation, language and style, and contemporary values and influences of vernacular narratives in modern and contemporary Chinese literature, this paper reveals the unique manifestations of vernacular narratives and their profound connotations at different historical stages. With their unique perspectives and profound social insights, vernacular narratives depict the life of rural China, reflecting the realities of social change and cultural inheritance. Writers such as Lu Xun, Shen Congwen, and Mo Yan, through their respective classic works, not only enriched the themes and techniques of literary creation, but also provided readers with an important window to understand rural life and social reality. In contemporary times, vernacular narratives continue to play an important role by focusing on rural issues and preserving cultural memories, arousing people's identification with and concern for rural culture. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the unique position and significance of vernacular narratives in contemporary Chinese literature and to explore their inspiration and contribution to contemporary literary creation through a multi-angle analysis of vernacular narratives.
