(A.) shizhuica sp. nov., of the subgenus Aethina Erichson, 1843 are described and illustrated from southwestern China. And four new species, A. (A.) cyaneipennis Grouvelle, 1903, A. Abstract:Three species of Corynesporopsis - C. uniseptata, C. quercicola, and C. indica - are recorded for the first time from China. They are described and illustrated from specimens collected on dead branches of unidentified plants. Abstract:The Chinese species of Lilioceris are revised, and three new species are described from Tibet, China: Lilioceris zhentangensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. , Lilioceris medogensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. and Lilioceris zayuensis Xu & Liang, sp. nov. Five species of Lilioceris are reported for China as new records: L. dromedarius (Baly, 1861), L. pulchella (Baly, 1859), L. semicostata (Jacoby, 1908), L. unicolor (Hope, 1831) and L. nepalensis Takizawa, 1989. Lilioceris seminigra (Jacoby, 1889) is proposed as a junior synonym of L. unicolor Hope, 1831. Redescriptions, habitus photographs, geographic distributions, host plants (if available) and habitats are provided for these species.

Abstract:The Bostrichidae is a small family of Coleoptera, with up to 600 described species all over the world. Almost 90 species of the family have been recorded in China at present and several new species of powder-post beetles have been described in recent years. Since the 1940s, the family Bostrichidae has become a neglected group in the taxonomy research of the Chinese mainland compared with its extensive territorial and super complex ecological diversity. Thus, there is need for more field specimen collection and in-depth taxonomic study.In this study, two powder-post beetles species Trogoxylon spinifrons (Lesne, 1910) and Minthea bivestita Lesne, 1937, are recorded for the first time from China. New provincial distribution records of another 18 Bostrichidae also listed.

Abstract:The species of the genus Campyloneurus Szépligeti and Iphiaulax Foerster (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Braconinae) from China are revised and 32 species are recognized, including 14 new species (Campyloneurus brachyurus sp. nov., C. lasiofacialis sp. nov., C. longitergum sp. nov., C. longitudinalis sp. nov., C. micromacularis sp. nov., C. nigriventris sp. nov., C. promiscuus sp. nov., C. pachypus sp. nov., C. quadraticeps sp. nov., C. robusticella sp. nov., C. rugifacialis sp. nov., C. stigmosus sp. nov., C. tergipunctatus sp. nov. and Iphiaulax longinervis sp. nov.), which are described and fully illustrated. Campyloneurus kirbyi (Cameron, 1905) is reported from China for the first time. A key to taxonomically similar genera, Campyloneurus, Craspedolcus Enderlein, Cyanopterus Haliday, Iphiaulax and Maculibracon Li, van Achterberg & Chen), and a key to the Chinese species of the genera Campyloneurus and Iphiaulax are provided.

Abstract:One new genus and two new species of eriophyoid mites from South China are described and illustrated: Epicecidophyes cinnamomi sp. nov. infesting Cinnamomum camphora (L.) J. Presl (Lauraceae) belongs to the subfamily Cecidophyinae and Fairina dimocarpi gen. nov. & sp. nov. infesting Dimocarpus longan Lour. (Sapindaceae) belongs to the subfamily Phyllocoptinae. Both new species are vagrants causing no apparent damage to their host plants.

Abstract:The soft scale insect genus Marsipococcus Cockerell & Bueker, 1930 (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Coccidae) is reported for the first time from China; a new species, Marsipococcus brideliae sp. n. , is described and illustrated from Guizhou Province on Bridelia retusa (Phyllanthaceae). A key is given to distinguish all four species in the genus. Type specimens of the new species are deposited at the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China and the collection at the Department of Forestry Protection, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing.

Bicarinibracon carini Chishti & Quicke, 1993 is reported from China for the first time. Keys to the Chinese species of the genera Bicarinibracon and Chelonogastra are provided.

Abstract:By combining molecular systematics and classical morphological geography, two new Chinese record species of Cystinarius rubiginosus and Cortinarius acutispissipes were found in the taxonomic study of the specimens of Cortinarius stored in Kunming Edible Fungi Research Institute. The macroscopic morphological and microstructure characteristics of the two species and their differences from similar species are described in detail. The microstructure photos and molecular information of the species are given.

Abstract:Three subgenera of Chelonus Panzer (1806): Areselonus Braet (1999), Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg (2001) and Megachelonus Baker (1926) are recorded for the first time from China. The species of Chelonus (Areselonus) chailini Walker & Huddleson is reported for the first time, and new host information is provided. The subgenus of Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg, 2001 has been recorded only from the Neotropical region before this study. Chelonus (Baculonus) icteribasis sp. nov., represents the first record of this group from the Old World. Two new species of subgenus Megachelonus, i.e., C. (M.) macros sp. nov. and C. (M.) longqiensis sp. nov., are described from China. A key to the six currently known Megachelonus species is included to facilitate future identifications.

Abstract:The Chinese species of the subgenus Microchelonus Szépligeti of the genus Chelonus Panzer with the female carapace having an incised apex in dorsal view and/or in posterior view are revised. Two new species, Chelonus ( Microchelonus ) rhagius sp. n. and Chelonus ( Microchelonus ) tobiasi sp. n. are described. Chelonus ( Microchelonus ) elegantulus Tobias and Chelonus ( Microchelonus ) volgensis Tobias are recorded in China for the first time.

Abstract:One new genus and species, Paramacrosteles nigromaculatus gen. et sp. nov. of subfamily Euscelinae is described from China, and is placed in Macrostelini. The genus is similar to Macrosteles Fieber in general appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus at apex with two paired fork-shape projections. Abstract:The genus Bradybatus Germar, 1823 is reported from China for the first time. A new species is described and illustrated under the name Bradybatus (Bradybatus) keerqinensis Lü and Zhang sp. n. from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. This new species can be easily distinguished from other species of Bradybatus by the large body size, black color, pronotum length/width ratio about 1.21–1.27 without longitudinal stripe, elytra length/width ratio about 1.85–2.00 without oblique or transverse band, and pedon uniformly curved C-shaped (in lateral view), sides subparallel (in dorsal view), with distinctly narrow apex. An identification key to all known species of the subgenus Bradybatus is updated. The biological characteristics of the species are also provided.

Abstract:The species of Coeloides Wesmael of the tribe Coeloidini ( Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) are revised in China, and eleven species are recognized. Among them, four new species: C. glaboventris Wang et Chen, sp. nov., C. longquanus Wang et Chen, sp. nov., C. flavus Wang et Chen, sp. nov. and C. changbaiensis Wang et Chen, sp. nov., are described and illustrated in detail. Some of the known species of this genus and one new species, C. flavus Wang et Chen described in this paper are parasitoids of larvae of various species of Scolytidae, Curculionidae and Buprestidae ( Coleoptera), many of which are notorious pests in coniferous and broadleaved trees. The type and other voucher specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, and Chinese Academy of Forestry, Beijing, China.

Abstract:The genera Echinovelleda Breuning, 1936 and Propedicellus Huang, Huang & Liu, 2020 are revised. The latter is considered to be a junior synonym of the former based on a comprehensive morphological investigation, especially on the characteristics of male endophallus. Two new species are described from China, viz. Echinovelleda mumuae Bi & Mu sp. nov. from Yunnan and Guangxi, and E. protochinensis Bi & Lin sp. nov. from Yunnan and Sichuan. New records are reported for previously described taxa including one new country record of a morphologically similar genus, Hechinoschema Thomson, 1857 from China. Illustrations of habitus, endophallic structure, major diagnostic features for all studied taxa, as well as a distributional map are provided.
