Abstract:Given a different method for the proving the Cauchy mean-value theorem by using first integral method to construct assistant functions and in weakened or enhanced condition,get a symmetry result which is a extension of the Cauchy mean-value theorem.

Abstract:In this paper, we first study the arithmetic properties of intuitionistic fuzzy number, the monotonicity of intuitionistic fuzzy function and the derivative of intuitionistic fuzzy functions and then we study the fundamental properties on monotone function. After that, we proposed a mean value theorem for differentiable function in intuitionistic fuzzy calculus, from which we derived a general version using Cauchy mean value theorem for intuitionistic fuzzy calculus. At last, we give some examples and we also show as a corollary that the mean value theorem is a special case of the Cauchy version of mean value theorem.

Abstract:Darboux's Theorem shows that any derived function poses intermediate-value property.This enable us to solve many problems of mathematical analysis without assuming the continuous of the highest order derivatives.On the other hand, comparison theorems are very important in theories of differential equations.In this paper, it is shown that many generalizations of mean value theorems can be transformed to the estimates of solutions of differential equations by approaches related to comparison theorems.This will be helpful and interesting for students in studying mathematical analysis.

Abstract:A general mean value theorem, for real valued functions, is proved. This mean value theorem contains, as a special case, the result that for any, suitably restricted, function f defined on [ a, b ], there always exists a number c in ( a, b ) such that f(c) − f(a) = f ′( c )( c−a ). A partial converse of the general mean value theorem is given. A similar generalized mean value theorem, for vector valued functions, is also established.

Abstract:We investigate the integral conditions to extend the mean curvature flow in a Riemannian manifold. We prove that the mean curvature flow solution with finite total mean curvature at a finite time interval [0, T) can be extended over time T. Moreover, we show that the condition is optimal in some sense.

Abstract:In this paper we follow a paper from A. Sedunova (2017) regarding R. C. Vaughan's basic mean value Theorem (Acta Arith. 1980) to improve and complete a more general demonstration for a suitable class of arithmetic functions as started by A. C. Cojocaru and M. R. Murty (London Math. Soc. Stud. Texts 2006). As an application we derive a basic mean value Theorem for the von Mangoldt generalized functions.

Abstract:We introduce a class of so-called very weakly locally uniformly differentiable (VWLUD) functions at a point of a general non-Archimedean ordered field extension of the real numbers, , which is real closed and Cauchy complete in the topology induced by the order, and whose Hahn group is Archimedean. This new class of functions is defined by a significantly weaker criterion than that of the class of weakly locally uniformly differentiable (WLUD) functions studied in [1], which is nonetheless sufficient for a slight variation of the inverse function theorem and intermediate value theorem. Similarly, a weaker second order criterion is derived from the previously studied WLUD condition for twice-differentiable functions. We show that VWLUD functions at a point of satisfy the mean value theorem in an interval around that point.

This paper delves into the mathematical intricacies of the MVT and its multifaceted applications. Through rigorous proofs and illustrative examples, this study establishes the MVT's fundamental role in calculus and its relevance in understanding the behavior of functions. The paper extends its exploration to encompass related theorems, including extreme value theorem, which connects function’s continuity and extrema, Intermediate Value Theorem, which states that the function value within an interval of a continuous function must be between the maximum and minimum values, local extreme value theorem, Rolle’s theorem, a specific situation of the theorem, and the integral MVT, an application in integral aspect of MVT, further enriching the comprehension of these pivotal concepts. These theorems provide powerful tools for understanding the properties of continuous functions, identifying critical points, and establishing relationships between function values and their derivatives. This paper highlights the significance of proving these theorems and solving mathematical problems as applications. Through a systematic exploration of the mathematical foundations, this paper contributes to a deeper comprehension of the core principles underlying calculus and their applied theorems in different contexts.

In this paper, we introduce the method for proving Lagrange's mean value theorem and Taylor's theorem using Rolle's theorem, and the application of these two theorems in estimating the value of integrals, determining the concavity and convexity of functions, and solving the limits of functions.

Abstract:In this paper we obtain a mean value theorem for a general Dirichlet series $f(s)= \sum_{j=1}^\infty a_j n_j^{-s}$ with positive coefficients for which the counting function $A(x) = \sum_{n_{j}\le x}a_{j}$ satisfies $A(x)=\rho x + O(x^\beta)$ for some $\rho>0$ and $\beta<1$. We prove that $\frac1T\int_0^T |f(\sigma+it)|^2\, dt \to \sum_{j=1}^\infty a_j^2n_j^{-2\sigma}$ for $\sigma>\frac{1+\beta}{2}$ and obtain an upper bound for this moment for $\beta<\sigma\le \frac{1+\beta}{2}$. We provide a number of examples indicating the sharpness of our results.

Abstract:k -variable means which are the Cauchy differences of additive type generated by a real single variable function f , and denoted by , are examined. It is shown that is an increasing mean in iff f is a convex solution of the (reflexivity) functional equation , and a construction of a large class of such means is presented. The form of a unique homogeneous mean of the form is given. As corollaries, the suitable results for the Cauchy differences of exponential, logarithmic and multiplicative types are obtained. It is shown that there exists a unique continuous and differentiable at 0 function f such that is a bivariable premean in , and its analyticity is proved. Finding the explicit form of f is one of the proposed open questions.

Abstract:The foundation of all mathematical analysis is calculus. The mean value theorem of differential equations and the mean value theorem of integral equations are crucial concepts in calculus. They establish the framework for the entire calculus. This essay discusses three different types of mean value theorems. They have some degree of generalization and proof. Thus, the mean value theorems of Lagrange, Rolle, and Cauchy are all correctly demonstrated in this study. The foundation for these three theorems further establishes the calculus fundamental theorem. They can expand the differential mean value theorem and demonstrate the Newton-Leibniz formula. The application of mean value theorems is discussed in this paper. This research is really important. Because mathematics uses the most fundamental and significant tool used in human investigation. Like the progression from the mean value theorem of the differential to the mean value theorem of the integral, from the known to the unknown.
