Abstract:As a particular field of the coping process research, religious coping is getting more and more attention in recent years. In this paper, the concept of religious coping, the transactional model of stress and coping, and the numinous experience which is the theoretical basis are introduced. The status of religious coping scale are reviewed including special religious coping scale, items of common coping scale and self-design items. Finally, religious coping style and its relations with other adaptation-related are analyzed.
