Abstract:Experiment were conducted to assess the effect of two maturation medium(medium Ⅰ:contain Porcine Follicular Fluid(pFF),PMSG,hCG;medium Ⅱ:contain FSH,LH) on in vitro maturation and subsequent development ability of porcine oocytes.No difference were found between the maturation result of the two maturate medium(rate of survival after maturation:82.66% vs.83.5%;P>0.05).The parthenogenesis ability of the matured oocytes was also conducted.Although there were no difference between the rate of blastocysts(35.0% vs.32.04%;P>0.05),the oocytes from maturate medium Ⅱ has higher cleavage rate(78.38% vs.69.44%;P<0.05).In conclusion,composition defined medium(without pFF) can satisfy the needs for porcine oocytes in vitro maturation and subsequent development.
