Abstract:As an important part of China’s public education policy, the tuition policy of colleges and universities is related to the fundamental interests of thousands of families. In the specific process of implementing the tuition policy, due to the deviation of implementation, the single dimension of decision-making, the lack of legislation, the imperfect evaluation and other reasons, it has directly led to the deviation of tuition policy in terms of purpose, process, and content, which further causes the realistic dilemma of low credibility of the current tuition policy. Facing the future, the tuition policy should return to its original intention and start with the legalization of the policy text, the diversification of the main participants and the enrichment of the evaluation system, so as to rectify the distortion and deviation of the tuition policy and work hard to achieve the grand goal of higher education supporting the construction of a harmonious society.
