Current Analysis of the Items at One's Own Expense of Medical Insurance in Certain Grade-three General Hospital in Beijing

Abstract:Objective To control the ratio at one's own expense furthermore in certain grade-three general hospital and discover its effective monitoring target. Methods The items at one's own expense of 774 cases of discharge patients paid by items of medical insurance were researched and the ratio at one's own expense and the proportion at one's own expense observed in July,2006. Results the ratio at one's own expense was 6.38%,2.64% in drug and 3.74%in diagnosis and treatment items. Conclusion Controlling absolute values at one's own expense should be an effective methods of dominating the rate at one's own expense. The monitoring targets of the ratio at one's own expense include anastomosis device and analgesia pump,etc in diagnosis and treatment items and antithymocyte globulin and human blood albumin,etc in drug.
