Multi - factors Discriminated Formula Establishment and Identification of Serum Autoantibody in Patients with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Abstract:Objective To verify the serum autoantibody for clinical diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). Methods Using ourselves-established ELISA(enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay),we detected the serum concentration of anti-cytokeratin 19(CK19),Rho GDP dissociation inhibitor beta(Rho-GDI-2),heat shock protein 70(HSP 70) and leucine aminopeptidase 3(LAP3) antibody in 36 NPC patients,20 other types of cancer patients and 20 healthy individuals,and established the multi-factors discriminated formula. Results The serum autoantibody concentration in NPC was significantly higher than that in the healthy individuals.Comparison of the four antibodies,Rho-GDI-2 was higher sensitivity and HSP70 was higher specificity.When used the multi-factors discriminated formula constituted by 4 autoantibodies for NPC patients,the sensitivity was 41.7%(15/36),the specificity was 95%(19/20),and the accuracy rate was 61.8%(47/76). Conclusions The multi-factors discriminated formula constituted by anti-CK19,HSP70,LAP3 and Rho-GDI-2 autoantibodies may contribute to the screening and diagnosis of NPC.
