Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the follow-up on strengthening the outpatient smoking cessation with coronary heart disease(CHD) patients quit smoking effects of smoking and clinical prognosis.Methods:In our hospital heart center selected clinic and diagnosed with coronary heart disease 140 cases of smoking patients,randomly divided into the intensive 1:1 smoking cessation clinic follow-up group(intervention group) 70 and the conventional treatment group(conventional group) 70,with different interventions respectively.After 6 months,the two groups were compared the situation to quit smoking,quit smoking misunderstanding,cardiovascular event rates,out-patient medical costs and quality of life.And end of the study,the feasibility of the investigation.Results:At baseline the two groups were not significant diffeence(P>0.05).Follow-up statis-tics,the follow-up group quit rate in the control group(34.29% vs 5.71%,P<0.01);compared with the number of cigarettes before quiting smoking between the success of smoking cessation in two groups with the failure to quit smoking(13.42 vs 13.39,P>0.05);total cardiovascular events was lower than the conventional group(21.43% vs 47.14%,P<0.01);out-patient medical costs were significantly lower than the con-ventional group(3789.34 RMB vs 4984.25 RMB,P<0.01);reference MYO health survey questionnaire,the quality of life scores were significantly higher than the conventional group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Intensive outpatient follow-up can significantly increase cessation of smoking in patients with coronary heart disease,im-prove the quality of life,and reduce medical costs.
