Abstract:Objective To investigate the prevalence of common chronic diseases in adults of Chaoyang district of Beijing and to provide the evidence for protecting the resident health.Methods In present investigation 7 010 adult residents(18～79 years old) were selected by multistage stratified sampling,and the questionnaire interview,physical examination and laboratory tests were used.Results The morbidities of hypertension,diabetes,dyslipidemia,overweight,obesity and central obesity in adult residents of Chaoyang district were 37.8%,10.7%,47.6%,37.3%,17.9% and 58.0%(the standardized rate:28.7%,7.7%,44.3%,34.0%,16.3% and 51.7%),respectively.The morbidities of above chronic diseases increased with age,and the male morbidities were significantly higher than female morbidities(P<0.05).Conclusion The morbidities of common chronic diseases of adult residents in Chaoyang district were still high,the relevant department should pay more attention to improving the level of the health of the residents.
