Abstract:Objective: To study the clinical effects of triamcinolone acetonide combined with total glucosides of paeony on treating erosive oral lichen planus (OLP) in the aged.Methods: 34 cases of OLP in aged were treated with local injection of triamcinolone acetonide and were administered total glucosides of paeony capsules, we observed the clinical index before and after treatment, and detected the changes of T lymphocyte subsets. Results: The clinical effective rate was 91.18%, CD3+、CD4+T lymphocyte cell increased (P<0.01), CD8+ T cell decreased (P<0.01) and CD4+/CD8+increased (P<0.01) post treatment. Conclusion: The method was effective for OLP, and the condition of T lymphocyte-mediated immune response could be improved.
